Description

This cabinet is made from a solid curly yellow Birch frame. The frame has inset hardwood plywood panels that have been painstakingly completely custom-veneered with multiple exotic woods.

The top surface is veneered with Ziricote, providing a robust and dramatic surface.

The front and sides are veneered with Pommele Sapele, with inlaid Macassar Ebony and Ziricote for the leaf and stripe motif.

The interior bottom is veneered with Ziricote. The interior front and sides are veneered with cork. The back is veneered with Curly Makore.

The handle is made of Madagascar Rosewood and rotates on a double ball-bearing as a closure mechanism.

The interior size is approximately 50″ wide, 30″ high, and 14″ deep. Approximately 5 dozen standard 750ml wine bottles will fit inside.

As a final touch, the cabinet rests on four solid 3″ diameter curly maple feet.

The entire cabinet is finished in high gloss laquer.
